Hiphi closes in on established luxury leaders

The Chinese luxury market, long a battleground where Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Lexus fought for every inch of terrain, is increasingly facing a challenge from Human Horizons HiPhi, according to the latest new-vehicle registration data from China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.

HiPhi totaled 763 units registrations in Novermber, up 51 percent from 504 units in October, according to figures released yesterday. Cumulative deliveries of the brand's first model, HiPhi X, have exceeded 3,300 units since deliveries began in mid-May, with 2,805 units delivered from July to November, it said.

Human Horizons HiPhi, the homegrown Chinese electric vehicle (EV) brand with the HiPhi X starting at RMB 570,000 for the six-seat version and up to RMB 800,000 for the four-seat version.Through the end of Novermber, HiPhi sedan were the most popular vehicles offered in that segment by any premium brand.

On Nov. 8, 2021,following the Success of HiPhi X, Human Horizons announces all-new digital GT-HiPhi.The new GT is 95% representative of the production car from a design perspective and will be officially on display and available for purchase reservations at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition in April 2022, with mass production and delivery within 2022. This will be the company's second flagship model after the great success of the HiPhi X Super SUV.

Named the HiPhi Z, the new GT is inspired by ideas of the future and the concept of four-dimensional space. 'XYZ' represents the coordinates of space, and 'T' is the time axis.
